GENERAL

CastleRock3D is a small 3D-print shop run by Shawn out of Castle Rock, Colorado. Every design in the shop is printed, quality-checked, and boxed in the workshop before it ships to you. No files, no printer setup, no slicer — you order it and the finished piece shows up in the mail.
You can browse the whole catalog and add items to a cart without an account. To place an order you'll create a quick account so we have a shipping address and a way to send you tracking updates.
Right here in Castle Rock, CO. Bambu Lab X1 Carbon printers handle the FDM production runs, an Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra does the resin detail work, and every piece is inspected before it goes in the box.
Check the Coming Soon page for teased designs that are in prototype right now. That page updates as pieces move from concept → test print → ready.
Use the contact form on the About page — messages come straight to Shawn's inbox and he reads every one. Reply within 24 hours is the target.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Standard orders ship in 3–5 business days from Castle Rock, CO. Most US addresses land in 5–8 business days total (production + USPS transit). If a piece is out of stock, we'll email you before charging.
Continental US, Alaska, and Hawaii for now. International is coming — if you'd really like a piece shipped abroad, drop us a note and we'll see what we can do case-by-case.
Bubble wrap around fragile pieces, kraft-paper padding, in a rigid corrugated box. Articulated prints ship posed in a way that survives the mail. If it arrives damaged we'll replace it — see the "damaged in shipping" question below.
Yes — USPS Priority (2–3 day) and Express (1–2 day) options are selectable at checkout. Note: those speeds are AFTER we finish printing, so plan for the 3–5 day production window on top.
Take a photo of the box + the piece and email support@castlerock3d.com within 7 days of delivery. We'll ship a replacement at no charge. Print again, ship again, done.
You'll get a shipping-confirmation email with a USPS tracking number the moment your box goes out the door. You can also check the "My Orders" page inside your account any time.

BUNDLES & SETS

A bundle is a themed set of related prints at a lower per-piece price than buying them individually. Examples: the 5-mini Adventurer Party (Knight/Wizard/Rogue/Cleric/Ranger), the Dragon Family (3 sizes), the DM Screen bundle.
For most bundles the composition is fixed so we can keep the price down. If you want a custom combination, drop us a note and we'll quote it — we don't charge extra to swap one piece for another if the totals work out.
Not yet. It's on the roadmap. If that's something you'd actually want, tell us — requests from real customers jump the queue.

PRINT QUALITY & MATERIALS

FDM prints are PLA or PLA+ (a stiffer, more impact-resistant PLA blend). Resin prints use a workshop-grade ABS-like resin that holds fine detail without shattering. Both are safe to handle and paint.
FDM: 0.2mm layer height default, dropping to 0.12mm for character minis and detail-heavy pieces. Resin: 50 micron for 28mm minis and 25 micron for busts / show pieces.
Every listing shows the default color the piece ships in. If you want a different filament color from what we stock, drop a note in the order comments — we'll email if we can't match. Painted minis ship in the paint scheme shown on the product page.
D&D-compatible 28mm scale by default (heroic scale, roughly 32mm eye-height for a human character). Some large monsters and dragons scale up from there — each listing shows exact dimensions.
PLA+ is plenty strong for tabletop use, display, and coasters. Resin is more brittle — treat resin minis like glass ornaments. FDM articulated pieces (dragons, flexi-fish) are surprisingly durable.

CARE & PAINTING

Painted minis ship with a matte sealer. Handle by the base when you can, keep out of direct sunlight for long periods (UV can dull colors over years), and dust with a soft brush.
Yes — FDM prints come sanded on visible surfaces; resin prints come cured, cleaned, and primer-ready. If you want a piece bare-metal for airbrushing, order the unpainted variant.
That's exactly what most of them are designed for. 28mm scale, sturdy bases, and pose choices that don't block adjacent squares.
You bought a physical print, so it's yours to keep, gift, or resell as an object. If you want to use one as photography for a commercial product listing or in a video, drop us a note — we're relaxed about it but appreciate a heads up.

BILLING & PAYMENTS

All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) plus Apple Pay and Google Pay at checkout. Everything runs through Stripe — your card number never touches CastleRock3D servers.
Prints that arrive damaged: replaced free (see the shipping section). Prints you no longer want, unopened: 30-day return window, minus return shipping. Custom / painted-to-order pieces are non-refundable once printing starts.
Emailed automatically to the address on your account the moment payment clears. You can also grab a copy any time from "My Orders" inside your account.
No. Card numbers go straight to Stripe. If you're a returning buyer and asked us to save a payment method, only a Stripe reference token is stored on our side — never the raw card number.
We collect Colorado sales tax on CO orders, and the sales tax the checkout calculates for your ship-to state where required by law. It shows as a line item before you confirm.

ACCOUNT & PRIVACY

Sign in, open Preferences from the profile menu, and update either field. Password reset emails also work if you've forgotten your current password.
Use the "Forgot password?" link on the sign-in page. Enter your email and we'll send a one-time reset link that expires in an hour.
Preferences → Account → Close account. Your order history stays on file (we need it for warranty / replacement claims) but your login and personal info are removed. Reach out if you want a full data-wipe instead.
Just what's needed to ship an order and email you about it: name, shipping address, email, order history. No tracking pixels, no ad networks, no third-party analytics selling your data. Full details on the Privacy page.
Preferences → Email in your account. Turn off promotional email while keeping order / shipping notifications on (recommended so you still get tracking updates).
